I have not found it listed as a seperate word in clauson
(etymologiucal dictionary of pre 13th turkish), though the verb
exists, and the aorist would yield such a word.

-z / -r is a collective suffix found in many tribal names.

but then where did the river name come from? the tribal name might
have come first.
